Somebody in your family doesn't want to do this. Usually it's the

teenager, sometimes it's your husband, and once in a while it's everyone

at once and you're the only one who said yes.


That's most families, and I plan for it. I don't line people up and start

posing. We walk, we talk, and everyone moves around until they forget

what we came for. The pictures you'll actually keep come out of that

part, not the part where everybody's looking at the lens.


I photograph a lot of families with older kids and teenagers. Most

photographers find toddlers easier. I'd rather have the fifteen-year-old

who thinks this is a waste of a Saturday, because that's the year you'll

want back later.


We shoot around Milton, Roswell, Alpharetta, Canton and Woodstock , and

I pick the spot with you and handle the timing. You don't plan anything.


You'll get digitals, and you can add a handmade album or matted prints in

a folio box. Those get opened. Files sit on a phone.


Collections  start at $900. I'll send you the full

list before you decide anything.


One thing to know about fall. If you want these on a holiday card, book

by the end of November, because fall spots  fill up first.

What if someone in my family is camera-shy or my kids don’t cooperate?

 

That’s completely okay — I work with all kinds of personalities and ages. Sessions are designed to be fun and low-pressure, and I use a mix of gentle direction and play to make everyone feel comfortable.
